Jaimie Cooney is an enthusiastic young painter, currently living in Alberta, where she has been creating large scale paintings from an early age. She received her fine arts degree at Red Deer College in 1998 and then went on to The Alberta College of Art and Design to receive here Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2003. She has honed her skills with a paintbrush through several occupations, from sign painting to theatre scene painting.

     Jaimie continues to enjoy painting theatre scenes for Jubilations dinner theatre, and has recently started her own business painting commercial and residential murals as well as faux finishing and custom easel-sized paintings.
